We are proceeding with our initiative and we invite you to join with us in bringing together the Smirnoffs of all continents. Using e-mail addresses and with the help of such newspapers as Russkaya Mysl’ in France, Novosty in Argentine and Russky London we have found namesake compatriots in all countries of the world, excepting China, Iran and Iraq. Smirnoffs from Europe, the Americas, Russia, Australia, New Zealand, India and other countries wishing to participate in activities of Smirnoff International Club and to promote cooperation have filled out our questionnaires. The activities of Smirnoff International Club are aimed at comprehensive development of personality, personal capacities and creative potential of all people who bear or used to bear this name on the basis of mutual assistance, partnership and cooperation (as demonstrated by the filled out questionnaires, you will find plenty of highly-qualified specialists virtually in every walk of life among SIC members). THE PRINCIPAL GOALS OF SMIRNOFF INTERNATIONAL CLUB 1 – Plotting and maintaining on an on-going basis throughout the centuries (2000 – 1861 – 1700) the complete genealogy tree of Smirnoff clan in order to know who we are, what was embedded into us through the centuries, who were our ancestors, what we inherited from them in terms of traits of character, likes and dislikes, capacities, interests, professional preferences, talents and even diseases. 2 – Encouraging and assisting young Smirnoffs in obtaining education and profession, with financial support to those who need it during initial 1-2 years, with further employment in Smirnoff businesses and companies for young people to acquire practical skills and livelihoods. To find out, during such employment, what additional knowledge may be required for professional growth. Each active Smirnoff, a qualified specialist, should aim to start his/her own business. 3 – Mutually beneficial association and cooperation of Smirnoffs – manufacturers, entrepreneurs, businessmen from different countries - based on information, legal and financial support which will contribute to sustainable progress of business through expansion into new markets, including those of primary products, acquisition of state-of-the-art technologies and equipment and, last but not least, the employment of qualified specialists. By contributing 5-7% of a contract value, the coordinated activities of enterprising Smirnoffs will enable the Club to address the first two goals. A review of over 100 submitted questionnaires, as well as information from Internet and other sources have shown that you will find plenty of highly qualified professionals among Smirnoffs in any sphere of human activity, which enables to promptly resolve any issues faced by Smirnoff International Club in good faith and in a professional , and responsible manner. 4 – Obtain understanding and support on the global scale from public associations, foundations, family unions, companies and firms bearing our name, as well from individuals who value our family clan, for Smirnoff International Club’s efforts to bring together, consolidate and promote cooperation of members of the same genealogical tree. OBJECTIVES OF SMIRNOFF INTERNATIONAL CLUB 1 – Creation of a division of the Club in each country, city, village, such division to be led by an efficient organizer who may serve also as the manager of such division. Three Smirnoff families will already make a division. A division should possess data on all Smirnoffs living in the country, in the city, which is required to build a genealogical tree. Establish contacts with people, make available to them information about Smirnoff International Club, involve all interested parties in activities of the Club, agree on cooperation with businesses, communicate with public organizations, foundations of the city and the country. 2 – For review of genealogies, a person should be selected who is able to pursue studies in genealogy and who is willing to engage in research work. 3 – A person should be selected to work with junior Smirnoffs at schools and colleges focusing on children from large and single-parent families. Information should be collected about single retired Smirnoffs, families with elderly people needing assistance. Records should be maintained of Smirnoffs suffering from serious diseases who need qualified medical treatment. 4 – Participate in the development of the Club’s programs by making proposals, amendments, additions following a thorough examination of the problem at the local level (currently – communications by e-mail) 5 – Each division’s objectives include establishing contacts between Smirnoff families, sports, especially for children, visitor tourism, cultural exchange. Coordinated activities of enterprising Smirnoffs assumes the involvement of their relations and friends from different countries of the world in joint activities by creating a team of close associates, which will allow to build a financial basis (let us say, 5-7% of a contract value) for the Club to address the two first objectives – a study of Smirnoff families’ genealogies and upbringing professionals for work in a market environment. A review of the over 100 questionnaires, as well as information from Internet and other sources has shown that you will find plenty of highly qualified professional among Smirnoffs in any sphere of human activity which would allow to promptly resolve any issues faced by Smirnoff International Club in good faith and in a professional and responsible manner. All activities will be led by a chief manager who will consolidate all information from managers from every country and city about firms, companies, joint-stock companies managed by Smirnoffs or recommended by Smirnoffs, their objectives, problems and plans. Concerned parties, relying on opinions of professional economists, lawyers will have a choice of several options to sort out their problems. Smirnoffs, engaged in business, shall share experience, involve mass media, Internet, TV in highlighting any positive results of such cooperation, as well as develop new projects. There are proposals from businessmen, men of letters to set up trade sections of lawyers, economists, web-designers, advertising, foodstuff industry, various other manufacturing industries, transport, tourism, IT-business, arts and literature, etc. Detailed discussions led to the opinion that there is a need to set up a recruiting agency for hiring Smirnoffs. All activities of the Club and cooperation of enterprising Smirnoffs is aimed at adapting people’s psychology to a radically new world which does not allow them to be quiet and meek, but rather gives everyone a Chance to develop one’s Personality as that of an industrial, educated, enterprising, needed, confident, competitive human being.
